Marathon Running

After completing the New York City marathon (my first) yesterday, I’ve given myself a few extra days to get through my runner’s fog.  In the meantime, I wanted to post a great New York Times article about the marathon written by Carmen Peláez, my sometimes contributor, oftentimes food taster, and every day sister.  Whether or not you’re a runner, it’s a lovely story about getting through the race.

  5. Hi, I am so glad I found your blog throuhg A Chica Bakes. I love finding new blog for Latino foods, since I am from Puerto Rico. and this post makes me sad. I had a slot to run the NYC Marathon (my first also) but I had my thyroid removed in May and that really got me off the running training for the past six months. congrats on completing it! And can’t wait to read more. Angie
