After a few choice words in spanish I quickly fetched the reliable stove top cafetera and proceeded to percolate enough coffee for my cafe con leche. Although I do not exactly follow Ana’s instructions in the same order -I do not add the sugar to the coffee maker- I will try it next time to obtain a more authentic cafecito.

A new cafetera just doesn’t make the best coffee. If you need any other info on cafecito, I’m an expert. I even taught Monsy how to make it! Hope you continue to have cafecito everyday.
